What do you feel sets your business apart from similar operations in this area?

A great selection of jewelry, complete in-house full service jewelry repair, associates that love what they do, and the best customers in the world. We do custom work here, and everything is done in-store. We have designers, CAD systems, wax printers, casting equipment and a full shop of tools for any repair need. We love helping customers and are proud to operate with professionalism and customer service. [Our employees] truly love what they do and are fantastic at helping our customers find that just right item.

What is the history of Barnes Jewelry?

Mr. Barnes stated in 1956 in Wolflin Village. He expanded his store through the years, and after his passing, his son moved the store to its present location, 100 Westgate Parkway, next to Target. Mr. Barnes started the business with the highest degree of ethics and integrity. These principles have lasted through the 63 years of doing business and remain the same today.

Why do you choose to do business in Amarillo?

The people. This is our home and the Panhandle people are the greatest in Texas. They are not only friendly, but they are such a pleasure to help with that perfect gift giving item.
