ATVs and jet skis are a lot of fun, but you normally are not using them year round (especially if you live in the Texas panhandle). When they are out of use it is important to store them correctly.
Cleaning is always important when storing anything, but for vehicles people often overlook emptying the gas tank. Gas can breakdown overtime and can damage the vehicle.
So, whether you are storing your recreational vehicles at home or at a storage facility, drain the gas tank to nearly empty.
